As an instructor at USC, he taught film history and film production.

As an instructor at Santa Monica College Community Services, L.A. Valley College, and Loyola Marymount University, he taught career development-related courses, including resume writing, job interviewing skills, and career transitioning.

As an instructor at UCLA Extension, he taught presentation skills courses for interior designers and architects.
